stock for stock, if you launch good, you can take him. I think it's a good equal race.

Although this ? has been asked NUMEROUS times before, I'm still gonna have to say, it'd be equal. Don't ask us, when he gets back from his vacation, race him yourself.

I'd have to disagree with you guys on this one unfortunately. I believe that the gs-t would beat a 5 speed lude in the 1/4 mile. Although they have almost identical hp wise, the gs-t has more torque. If both drivers were good, the gs-t would win. My best friend has a 98 gs-t but he upped the boost to about 17psi. It is fast. If the gs-t driver was ****ty and the lude driver was good it should be a good race. I say this from experience. I have raced my friends gs-t many times and he destroys me. Then again i didn't have nitrous back then or an exhaust. I am a ss though. Should be a good race 5speed vs 5speed with the gs-t coming out on top.

I traded my 99 GST to get my Prelude. Stock for stock, the Eclipse wins. I've owned both, so I have experience to say. I still kinda miss my DSM. We'll see how much I miss it when I get my JRSC though...

I can tell you I beat my friend's Stock Talon TSi AWD everytime, I have a 5th gen, essentially stock (mods didn't give me any gain). If he launches hard from a light it'll take me the good part of a 1/4 mile to catch up, but from roll ons I pull him pretty good. We raced last night from a 5mph punch in 1st up till @95.. I had him by around 4 car lengths..

Stock for stock its a drivers race. If he has a couple of mods and can drive, you'll lose.

bone stock 5spd for 5spd, FWD on both, i think i could drive the prelude faster than a gst barely, this is just based on all the races i've had with them. as for a race between two people, its up to the driver.

if u gave me a choice, i'd take the Lude for this race. It should be close, but stock 2 stock the Lude will start takin the GST top of 3rd and into 4th gear. Not by much, but enough to tell who's t3h WinNAr!
