I was driving down the highway last night on my way home from our buddies house with my girlfriend in the car. I was going about 80 mph entering a portion of Route 22 East where it's nothing but a straight shot for a couple of miles. As I sped up a bit, I noticed a vehicle which I could not tell the make or model by seeing the headlights as I had never seen headlights like this behind me ever before. The Vehicle got into the left lane and proceeded to speed up, I revmatched my downshift to 3'rd perfectly and I exercised my 143,000 mile engine as I approached 100 mph.
I do not normally street race, but I was unclear as to what the vehicle was that I had just got in front of and lead on to a potential race. I thought I'd be able to take it since it didn't keep up with me like people usually might when I got in front of to instigate. To my suprise, the vehicle slowed down for a split second (To downshift) when I saw the front end lift slightly in my side mirror I again with down to 3'rd and gave it all I had. It took the other vehicle about 1 second to catch me from 3 cars back, as he shifted into probably 4'th right next to me I finally got to see it was indeed a MKIV (93-98) White TT Supra.

OOPS!!!
I have never seen a supra driving on the same road as me in my life, I never raced a supra with any of my vehicles, and I never expected my dream car would pull up to me to race in my Prelude and give me a run! It was quite the rush being passed while going 120+ Mph. As he shifted I could hear the BOV loud and clear. It was kinda like I was standing still, embarassing, funny, exciting, and definitly the best car I could have ever asked to kick my ass in a race. I caught back up to the guy as he coated back down to about 100 and I nodded and smiled.. He and his girlfriend looked over and did the same as if to say (I know you know what this is and yeah that was fun, good night) as they exited the highway and I smiled all the way home.
Not the best race story, but It's quite rare to live in a poor place like I do and see ANYTHING nice driving on the roads here. By the way, my ego is not bruised, I'd be honored to get beat by a supercar anyday. (at least I got to see it driving in action) Sorry no Vid!
