Hey 99preludelc.....i did your launch style so here it goes.....
I raced my friend's new celica....well it was broken in so it was ok...we were at the lights after chasing each other through a kilometer of traffic, anyway, it was red and i was revving it to 5000. btw i only have cold air intake...we launched pretty much at the same time but at first gear, i put a car on him then on second i another half a car....we got to third and we shut down when i was around 6500....WHY??? coz there was cops infront of us
they probably saw the whole thing but they didnt pull us over.....probably off duty already
.....the reason i beat him prolly coz he had so much wheelspin he just sat there...i chirp my first just a teeny weeny bit........but i killed him
...oh i had two passengers, he had one
then i race my brother's 99WRX.....i did the same launch...he launched at 3000 rpm....I put 1 car on 1st gear(turbo lag???) then he started walking me on second when i was about 6000 rpm.....he had no passengers, 1 had one passenger and probably around 25 kilos of luggage....he was surprised at my launch.....maybe next time i'll be able to hang on to him when we go one on one.......im getting used to this launch technique...its aweseome..........but no kill for me with the wrx
