95 - 98 Maxima vs 93 Si

Maxima mods:

Those little washer fluid spray nozzles that light up
Automatic

Me:

Intake (w/ air scoop)
advanced ignition timing
5-speed

who would win?

I had a 94 maxima and it was auto and that thing went! ive also driven a 96 and it felt slower though. I know the 95-98's are a little bit heavier but has a little bit more hp also so since i have driven both cars i think the lude with the 5-speed definitley has it.

I think this would be a good race. I always raced my buddies 97 Maxima (auto) and as long as I was on top of my game, I beat him pretty good. Now he has an intake, pullies, and exhaust, and I have a much harder time beating him (still haven't lost). If you really know how to drive your 5 speed, I would give it to you by a nose, but one slip up, and the Maxima has you. And if the Maxima is a 5 speed, forgettabout it, those things are
B!TCHEN.

my friend GF had a 98 Maxima Auto... when i had my 92 Accord, with i/h/e i raced it.. i beat it off the line for about 1/2 a second (manual.....) and after that she slowly started walking away.. by 60mph she was a good 2 car lengths ahead and pulling strong.. they got big engines =]... muy grande.
