'94 Prelude vs. '03 Mustang GT - Honda Prelude Forum

I raced my friends '94 lude (H22 5 speed) today in my '03 Mustang GT (auto). We did several rolling starts and one race from a dig. I beat him each time, but he did put up a decent fight, especially on the high speed rolling starts.

My friends 'lude is a 5 speed H22, recently rebuilt (rod knock), with a JDM prelude header, full exhaust afer that, intake, and skunk 2 cams (maybe stage 2?). What do you guys think his whp numbers are? I was thinking somewhere along the lines of 185 whp or so.

dyno runs are cheap, i would suggest one of those.

I was just looking for guesses man. I know it will always vary, but what are common numbers with those mods?

170whp maybe 175

That figure is from the little info and the fact that different dynos will give the same car different numbers. Those mods are not really 185whp figures IMO, I doubt he has stage 2 cams. Plus he isn't running an EMS.

well considering he lost to an 03 auto GT.....I would say not a whole lot.
