92si vs. 2006 eclipse gt.

ok i own a 92 prelude si 4ws 5 speed and my father owns a 2006 Mitsubishi eclipse GT 5 speed tiptronic. i need to beat it in a race and need to know what bolt ons i should get to put on my prelude currently my car has AEM V2 and my fathers car is bone stock and is staying that way. i don't want to go turbo unless anyone is going to sponsor me one which i highly doubt is going to happen and i am not going to spray no matter what. all tips and info is helpful and highly appreciated. Thank you! oh and i have a h23a1 engine.

LOL
you have a LOT of work to do...
for instance......
If you aren't going turbo and no nitrous, then you'll have to do a full build on your newly swapped H22... of course, you'll have to get an H22 to build first and then swap, but an H23 will not take an eclipse unless you do some type of FI
Oh, and please search before asking more questions. It's on this site somewhere, trust me

It's really not a driver's match when you're racing an auto... you floor it the whole time and go straight, not hard and really can't change the outcome. There really is no way to get your H23 fast enough NA to beat that GT. An Si prolly runs in the 16s stock, sorry...

Listen to everyone, you aren't going to win unless your dad lets you.

1/4 mile race
-He guns it and so do you, not much skill needed when one car is an auto

Reaction time would be the only way to win. If you start say 2 secs before he does

Otherwise you are going to need an h22 swap, good clutch, nitrous, and tires.

it is not a 1/4 mile race it is a winding road on a mountain. And all together it is maybe about 6-7 miles we are racing up, stoping then racing down. This place is known as tantlas and is in hawaii where i live.

1. This is a stupid idea

2. How do you say you're a "better driver"? Do you have any quantitative data?

3. Why don't you take it to a real road course (or auto-x) where it's legal and safer. Then you could really see who is "technically" faster.

Ok, then this will be a case of "He who dares wins." Car will not matter for this just who is more stupid.

I know this road extreemly well and people race on it all the time. I would go to a legal track if I knew of one I could race at that was not just a drag strip.
