5th gen vs. 5th gen

Finally i get to race a friend of mine that i have been wanting to race for awhile. Before anyone *****es, we race at designated spots that are far from the city streets.

His setup (off the top of my head):
Base model
usdm h22 and tranny
AEM cold air intake
Skunk2 Intake manifold
Crower Stage I cams
Crower valvetrain
Ferrea valves
Type S pistons (11:1 compression)
Kteller Rage header
high flow cat
apex'i N1
p28 with uberdata (vafcII hooked up for easy adjustability)
Innovative Wideband o2
BFG KDW2 tires on sh wheels
CM 6 puck clutch
lightweight flywheel

my setup (the stuff that matters):
base model
JDM h22 motor (10.6:1 compression) and tranny
Custom cold air intake
Custom RMF header
high flow cat
Apexi N1 exhaust
p28 with Crome (fuel tuned only, no timing adjustments)
****ty kumho 711 tires
Dynamax semi-ceramic disc clutch

We raced from a dead stop to about 110mph.
We had a flagger. He drops his arms and we are off. I launched around 4 grand and he jumped me off the line with his nice tires. Right when i caught traction in second i started to pull........pretty hard. I shift into 3rd, pull more, 4th...more. By the end of the race he was in my side view mirror and im guessing roughly 2 cars behind me. His car needs to be retuned, but then again so does mine. He's gonna be putting a hurting on my ass soon tho. He's building a 500hp turbo motor.
