Well...I went out an raced my Prelude vs. my CRX. I was driving the CRX, and a friend was in the Lude. The CRX just inches out the Prelude...with the Lude starting to come back just before the speed limiter (112 mph). I'm a little disappointed, though. I thought the CRX would walk all over the Prelude.
Guess it is time to get the CRX on the dyno to see if the motor is putting out what it should.
A buddy of mine has a CRX with a B16 that ran low 13's at the $2005 Grassroots challenge, granted it was gutted(about 1750lbs) and modded(165whp). I would think that even still yours should have walked all over a Prelude in a drag race.
Well, when we went from a dig...the CRX did walk all over it. ...but I have to credit at least 5 of the car lengths to my friend not being familiar with the Prelude. When we went from a roll (45, 55, 60) the cars were pretty much dead even. My roommate was following in his M3, so we have some video footage. Just have to get it edited and hosted.
They look damn good though, and are a hell of alot faster than alot of the ricers and other cars out there trying to race.
