5th Gen Prelude VS 2nd Gen Honda Odyssey

Last night I was just cruising around looking for some fast cars to race. I came to a stoplight and this old lady(about 50 years old) in an Odyssey looked over at me. I knew right then and there she wanted to race me by the way she was looking over at me. I put it in first and revved it to about 4K rpm and when the light turned green, I slipped the clutch out and smoked the hell out of her. She didn't stand a chance with her 3.5Liter V6 against my 2.2Liter V4. Pretty good for beating a car that has 2 more Vs than I do huh guys? I say a good kill for the Lude. I was suprised that I beat her so badly since her car has VTEC too and should be pretty fast.

Good kill!! question.. when u launch the car did u simply drop the clutch or feather it??

And is it more effective to chirp the tires and look cool, or should u try not to do that??

Thanks!!

The Odyssey runs a 15.8 in the 1/4 which is equal to a stock 5th gen. 255hp is nothing to sneeze at.

Try racing this minivan with anything but an Enzo http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/herita...ltespacef1.htm

The key to a good launch is to half drop and half feather it. It's like a balance between Ying and Yang. It's always more effective to chirp your tires because it shows that your car is mad powerful, plus you look cool also.

Those 3.5L Odyssey's do have decent power. I was shocked the first time I drove one.

Yes, they are quick little fockers. When I was working at Honda worked on a lot of them and was very impressed at how fast they picked up. I'm sure they can pull on a SOHC Civic with no problem. Turn off the Traction control and you can burn rubber everytime you stomp on the gas from a stop.

not only that... we have owned 3 minivans, and by far the honda odessey is the "ferrari" of minivans, I love the vehicle soo much. Its built like a rock, doesn't burn oil in vtec, and gives decent gas milage. Not to mention the huge interior (my family borrows it everytime they need to haul or transport something large).
