2003 Civic Si vs. Hyundai Accent? plus WRECK

We (as in myself and two friends) were in his civic si (exhaust, cai). As we merge onto I-220 this strang looking compact flys by us. It was a hyundai of some sort maybe an old accent. This car had an airplane spoiler, big wheels, cracked body kit and a purple paint job. My friend decides to downshift and catch up with the guy. As we approach him there is a bank to the right in the interstate. We are both in the left lane going 100-110 mph, but as we hit the turn the hyundai decides to switch lanes. I don't mean slowly merge to the inside either, I mean this guy turns into the next lane abruptly. After this aweful move he corrects to the left then back right. Now he has lost all control of the vehicle (We are slowing down at this point) and he slams into the guardrail which is more like a concrete wall. I felt bad for him, he survived and looked pissed, but my bud left quick. I guess he didn't want to help explain why this guy wrecked to the cops. "Uh, yeah officer we were just racing real fast and he lost control." I guess that's not really a kill thread, but a be careful thread. Anyone else seen some aweful results of street racing first hand?

umm something i don't like to remember but i can relate

a long time ago i was just driving down a long road (in my gf's celica gts).........there was this old 86 caprice watever, piece of total crap and after i pass him (going 5 mph above the speed limit)

he guns his car, i decide to give him a taste of 21st century technology, i easily creep away but then there is a stoplight coming up. i guess this dude absolutely had to do the ricer flyby becasue he did. he must have had drum brakes because after he passed me he slammed on the brakes due to stopped cars at the stoplight. i thought he would stop in time but he just slammed hard into the car in front of him. i was like in total amazement. the dude smashed an infiniti G20 and his car was stuck on the sidewalk. he started to rev the motor and it looked like he was trying to rock himself out of the predicament. ppl started screaming and getting the dude's license plates. i just pulled away seeing it was a busy intersection and many ppl were there to witness.

that was one crazy night.

Hey I can relate!

I was driving home at about 11 pm and I usually drive pretty fast. . . I was going about 85. I was all alone on the road when randomly this pretty nice tiburon flew by me (the newer ones) so I downshifted and had to catch up to him. we were going about 115-120 when I relized that my freeway interchange was comming up. I got over into the slow lane (there where the interchange was) and he decided to follow (right behind me). As we were comming up to the interchange I saw a innocent car up ahead. As you guys know a car comes up ****in quick when your going 120. The innocent car had seen us comming and I guess he didn't like what we were doing so he cut me off!! I was able to swerve away from the idiot just in time but the tiburon slammed into the back of him going about 110. As you can guess I didn't stick around.

Both of those stories sound worse than mine, since other people (non-racers) were involved.
