I just raced a 1st gen Talon TSI fwd from a 80kph roll (second gear). When I shut it down at 130kph he was ahead by less than half a car. His car looked and sounded stock so i'm a little surprised I lost considering that with bolt-ons and e-manage I dynoed at 200whp. Does anyone know how many whp a stock fwd TSI puts down? I guess he could have had a boost controller or something
yeah i raced my step brothers 98 Tsi and walked him. off the line no upper, RPM yes

It's not fair. I think if I was going to do it all again I would have skipped all the bolt-ons and e-manage and just got a muffler, a few cosmetic mods and called it quits! spending thousands on i/h/cc/e/p and engine management for the 30hp I picked up wasn't worth it!

$1500 dropped into a 4g-63t will conquer many
he said a STOCK one though.. Not one with mods.. Stock against stock there should be NO problem.. I have raced first gen turbo's before also, and the newer ones.. NO problems..
