10 races in 2 hours.. WHAT? Who won? Step inside and find out.

I only have a 1995 SE prelude with ebay intake, and a new muffler.. 5 speed. I was out for a long ride, and encountered pleeeenty of people who were more then happy to do it to it. I am taking my best guesses at the transmissions by the way the vehicles shifted, and accelerated in my rear view mirror. Modded means at least an intake, or exhaust if not both + more. I figured these cars were in my power class, so I gave them what they wanted.

- 2001 BMW 323 6cyl, Stock, Automatic, highway roll 70-110+
Outcome: Me by a length

- 2002 VW Jetta 2.0, Modded, Manual, highway roll 80-120+
Outcome: Me by a length

- 1998 Civic hatch back, Modded, Manual, Highway roll 50-100+/-
Outcome: Me by several lengths

- 2005 Chevy Cavalier 2.2, Stock, Automatic, Highway roll 70-110
Outcome: Me by a couple lengths

- 1998? Ford Probe GT, Modded, Automatic, Highway 45-125+
Outcome: Me by a couple lengths

- 2006 Mazda Three 2.3sp, Stock, Automatic, Highway roll 60-110
Outcome: Me by several lengths

- 2005 Mazda RX-8, Stock and he had a passanger, Manual, Highway roll 65-120
Outcome: Me by a length

- 2002 Ford Mustang 6cyl, Stock, Automatic, Stop light battle 0-80+
Outcome: Me by a length

- 2003 Dodge neon 2.0, Stock, Automatic, Highway roll 50-100
Outcome: Me by quadruple lengths

-2007 Ford SUV thing, Stock, Automatic, Highway roll 65-125+/-
Outcome: Me but the damn guy was relentless.. I didnt even know he could pace me at 125+ mph... wtf?
Outcome: Me by a few lenghts, but the guy kept going that fast.. yikes.

I think that was all. Today must have been try to race Brett day or something.. I had my fun.. now I'm done till I get my goodies in the mail, and dyno that 230+ whp.

Why can't I ever find a Prelude VTEC on the road when I am in the mood to play? Somebody come and find me, I still need to see what it will take to pace, or beat you.

By the way, does anybody know what the top speed of my 95 Prelude SE/SI is supposed to be?

Good job representing the H23 . I never maxed out the car when it was stock, but I assumed it was around the 130s before the rev limiter kicked in.

I was wondering the top speed, because I went about 131, but i was in 5'th gear at about 7,000 rpm +/- and I was wishing then I had 1 more gear to carry it on out to about 150 or better .. but no such love for the ludes I was content with a 131, The intake, and exhaust were scary loud at that point lol.

RX8 must have been the automatic or maybe the guy was in the wrong gear.. the whole time lol. I test drove one and they are a bit faster than a lightly modded VTEC lude.

The RX-8 Had a passenger, they were both kindy "hefty" guys, and my Prelude has a shaved head for higher compression, intake, header, and muffler.. *shrug* I'm a good driver though, It's not always about a vehicles power. As you suggested, I belive he was manual but he may have only shifted into 4'th or so when I was going downto 3'rd. I'll have to Get a video for you guys of my acceleration, maybe that'll clear things up a bit

To the guy who said my adrenaline was pumping, lol no I've just never seen many preludes on the road in my life.. and I do look for them. I want to see what you got on me, so I can pick the next mods wiseley, by the summer a VTEC prelude stock or lightly modded isn't going to hang with me anyway. I'll be in the 230-250 range hp and torque / wheels.

I took a manual RX8 no problem on a local highway in jersey, and test-drove one also.. And didnt find it faster than my car.. If it was..

And yeah, that guy was surprised and a little pissed..

All I have is a type S intake and a stage 0 clutchmasters clutch.. Which is basically stock, but not in design... My car is basically stock.. I love it though..

I'm only an H23, My wheel HP is MAYBE 145/150.. I'm just good at driving my car. I don't wanna race the fastest of the 5'th gens lol.. Thanks for wanting to see me get destroyed.

I don't think I'll be ready by march, but i MIGHT be ready to come out around april.. I still have a few things to change before I want anybody to see the car lol.

My car makes me cry sometimes. Yeah, it's that slow. I don't understand how I keep up with anybody either. I just do? I want my new clutch, flywheel, and short shift (gotta order that pretty soon) in before I go head to head with a 5'th gen.

Wont give me any more power, it will just help me put down what I am making.
