06 S2000 and b16 ek hatch

b16 ek hatch with itr cams and i/h/c/e. car's pretty fast. he ran a 15.2 before the itr cams. from a roll 40-120 i start pullin' away in 3rd and by 4th im probably a good carlength ahead with no chance of him catching up. from a dead stop, we're neck and neck til again i throw it in 3rd and i start pulling. keep in mind i just recently got in a minor accident with the suspension and had it partially fixed. caster and camber is still really off and i think my rear motor mount is still broken, lots and lots of wheel hop when starting from a dead stop. o ya, and i have cai/h/c/e as well. no internals and no drop either. so for those of u who were always wondering, civic SI's (b16) of any sort should be an easy kill if you can drive that is

05-06 S2000 stock everything: all from a 40/50-120ish. man, those things are fast , they actually start pullin' on me pretty hard in 4th. but in 2nd and 3rd we're neck and neck. wanna race one?? prolly best to race one from a dead stop, anywhere from 70+mph the S2000 should easily beat a prelude. i was surprised how closely i hung with one tho, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, we're basically dead freakin even.

i have a 2000 m/t prelude with aem cai, fujitsubo header, and 2.5 carsound cat and apexi dunk exhaust throughout. no drop nada so still getting a lot of wheel hop from a dead stop, especially moreso after the accident.

I'm sure you know S2K's are not going to blow anyone away in a drag race, but serve them up to some twisties and you'll see =D My friend had to learn how to drive his...he ran off a short cliff, and was blessed enough to walk away with only bruises.

I had a friend with a '01 S2K that ran 13.8 stock. I don't see a moderately upgraded Prelude to come anywhere close to that.

There was a video of him floating around the Internet about 2-3 years ago. It was of his car, on the stock rims (don't know about tires, but I know they were streets), at the local 1/4 drag strip. You can see it clearly, 13.8 @ 101 (I think on the trap...but I'm not sure). I'll see if I can dig it up.

It's believable. I mean when the new Mustang's came out.. I think someone threw down 12.9 as a best.
