06 Mazdaspeed6 w/ intake Vs. 98 SH w/ intake

So I raced my brother. He actually did decent. From a 40 mph roll he stayed even in 2nd gear. Third I pulled around 2 cars and 4th maybe 3-4 additional cars. From a 100 mph roll to 135 is was nasty. We won't talk about from a dig it ain't pretty. But down low the prelude isn't bad and sounds awesome and makes power until it's redline enstead of 150 hp at 6700 rpm and 274 at 5500 rpm. Cornering and braking are in my favor, altho he could probibly handle equally as well with better tires.

An MS6 can run as good as 13.8 @ 99 mph stock

Record is 13.7 @ 99 mph stock, our service manager ran 13.8 @ 99 mph with an intake. They just got 12.6 @ 108 mph with turbo swap and no tuning afr was like 10 at redline!!! We'll see 11's by summer. The arch enemy is the legacy gt, but the ms6 looks way better and has 6 speed and DSC. Altho the legacy has more aftermarket. Ether way, the MS6 will spank it in an autocross. Road and track only got 14.8 @ 86 mph I think, but that was with the powerloss issue. Mazda recalled them and reflashed them all. Mazda never really recovered from the bad press. I've had one close race witha late 80's modded corvette that's all. Regular wrx's won't be a problem. I'm sure I can pull on an STI with a new downpipe, they're seeing 25 whp with just that!!! I'd post pictures but it rejects every format I try.
