hi im a bit of a novice to in car audio and was wondering if you could give me a helping hand.

i currently have a -

*sony cdx-gt222 headunit with 45w x 4 max output.
*capability for a sub.
*sony cd changer in boot(unplugged),wires still present

i dont want tons of wattage where all you can hear is BOOM! i want to improve sound quilty, reduce the distortion,create a nice bass almost like a home cinema if im making sense.

can you advise affordable equipment to enable to achieve this ie amps,speakers,subs ect any advice will be a huge help thanks

get components up front, coaxials in the rear, a good 5-channel amp and a 12 in a ported box. I'd also recommend a head unit with at least 4V outputs.
