swapping stereo

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but is it possible to put the stock Prelude CD player (5th gen) into another vehicle?

Specifically, I was thinking about putting it in my Supra, and getting a better HU for the Lude.

Is this even possible? Would the Acoustic Feedback System pose a problem?

Thanks in advance

You can bypass AFBS and the head unit still works fine, so I don't think that would be your problem.

The problem would be mating up the wiring harnesses between Honda and Toyota. But if you get a diagram/pin-out, you might be able to make it work.

I was able to put my stock stereo into my sisters 91 Civic HB, but yeah just like Pete said, the problem is that you would need a stock plug from Honda and mate it to a wiring harness for the Toyota. Since the civic had the same plug, there were no problems.

What these guys said is correct.
One thing I'll add is that the AFBS system is not controlled inside the head unit but rather this little black box in your trunk.
