Although it was reported about 3 -4 weeks ago, just found out that they have pulled out of North America, and plan on only doing OEM work now.

Was looking to get a couple AVN726E's and saw them around x-mas time for 750ish, and now they have all jumped to 1,200 because once they are sold, no more.

I've been running Eclipse since '95 and will not put another unit in any of my cars. Time to scoop up some used decks on Ebay, and hold onto them for future cars.

So if anyone wants Eclipse products, get them now before they are gone!

I am not letting go of the eclipse mang!

I hated the alpine w505 + blackbird2 system. I went from an eclipse cd deck to alpine to AVN726E. I have always hated Alpine units but decided to get the W505 due to the USB input where the 6620 did not have one. I am so much happier with the AVN726E. Great upgrade. The only thing is that some routes are not in the map database and sometimes it says South when I need to go North.

You should definitely get it Chris.

I have the 6620 and like it, but want the USB playability, plus the blue tooth looks much better than the crappy Parrot unit for the 6620.

Guess I'll either have to wait to pick a up gently used one, or spring for a new one and over pay.

Yea bluetooth integration is nice. I have pairing problems with my phone though.

When I first got the unit, it would pair up nicely as long as bluetooth on the phone was enabled. Then about a couple months later it wouldn't pick it up automatically. I would have to manually pair it.

It might be my phone though. I have yet to try it with a different phone. Unless my unit is having bluetooth issues in general

Yea pick one up. I highly recommend the AVN726e. Have you tried looking at ebay? I can also check my local shop here for pricing.

I'm planning on getting a CD5030 (single DIN cd receiver with USB and Bluetooth). Anybody have any opinions on it?

Dang I just sold an Eclips AVN5500 for $250, probably shoulda held onto it and sold it for more.
