Stereo wiring harness

Hey guys I could use some help connecting my new deck... I bought an aftermarket wiring harness cause my old stereo got jacked ...but anyways I connected all the colour coded wires and I have no clue where the orange with white stripe wire goes ??? the deck has power to eject and take a cd but it wont turn on or display anything... any ideas?

the orange/white wire gets connected to the orange/white wire. If there is no matching wire then you cap it off and don't connect it to anything. The deck's display should work w/ or w/o the orange wire being connected. The orange wire is your dim wire. If it isn't connected, the radio will simply have no external dim control, you may or may not be able to control the dim through the radio's menu. Hope this helps.

edit: moved to stereo/security forum.

Did you buy the stereo new or used? Double check and make sure that you got all the wires right. If you bought it used make sure that you got the right faceplate for the stereo if its the wrong one your display wont light up.
