rear speakersin 4th gen.

Aright, im trying to remove my rear speakers on my 4th gen, but its a Pain in the ass! Those crossmembers are in my way and the nuts are on too tight! How did you all remove the speakers, will some WD-40 do the trick?

You should just be able to cut the plug that connects to each speaker off and connect the wires to your new speakers (you need to put new terminals on the bare wires first). If you dont want to do that, some stereo shops sell adaptors that hook up to the factory plus and connect to the speaker.

Are you the same guy who posted this (almost) identical message at hondaprelude.com? If not, here's what I told that guy:

I bought 'speaker harnesses' from Best Buy, only cost a few bucks for all 4 and saved me the trouble of trying to solder wires together from the inside of my trunk.
