quick ground Q

real quick im installing sony hu and i got all wires connected except for grounds .. there is two black wires one from harness and one from hu do i ground both or connect to together then ground one?? is it ok if i only ground 1?

ground both together. you will be connecting to the ground wire in the vehicle wiring harness.

soo hook up the one from the harness to the one form the hu and then just screw in the end of the one from the hu?

Um... please tell me that you're using a harness that connects to the HU's harness and also the factory one, and not just splicing the factory harness.

It should be like this...

[ HARNESS ]==========[ CONNECTOR/SOLDER ]=========[ HU HARNESS ]

i got it installed it just spliced the ground wires together and grounded it with a screw and works thanks.

lol, I have no idea why you grounded it with a screw, but that works as well.
