Pioneer Premier TS C720PRS or Alpine Type-R SPR-17S ?

Which is better for fronts ? Pioneer Premier TS C720PRS or Alpine Type-R SPR-17S ? i already have the spr17s for the rear... wondering if the pioneer 720s are better for fronts? for my 4th gen thx

Well I am pretty sure the type r's won't fit without a good deal of modification.. and they for sure won't fit with the stock grills.. I can't vouch for the pioneer's though.. I'd try to keep your mounting depth below 2"..

Edit: I thought it was for a 5th gen.. I got the type r's to fit into my 4th gen, IMO they might give you more bass then the pioneers.. though I have never seen them in action and they look pretty damn good for components..

well i figured the pioneers would be better since they have a lower hz then the alpines... i have the alpines for the back and they sound a big bright... but only heard it for a few mins... cuz my amps broken... but anyone out there try both? thx

you got the type r's to fit in the rear with that trunk bar in the way?

yea they have some clearance of half an inch?... i think this year has a shallow mount design...just wondering maybe the pioneers would be better for bass in front since there a few hz lower in the fequency thingie?
