I have the stock head unit, with the OEM single CD player in place of the storage compartment. These head units use the old, round plug to connect to the outboard CD unit, be it the one I have or the changer that went in the trunk. The later Honda in-dash changers used the newer, rectangular plugs w/more conductors. I assume I would have to change to a matching head unit, but which ones will fit a 4Gen? Are all Honda head units in this era the same size (Civic and Accord)? Any guidance on years?
