I am in the market for a new head unit and not sure which to get. There really arent any audio shops in my area so I am going to order it online. I am looking a the middle level excelon or the nak45. I have had two excelons and really liked them for all there features. any suggestions. Dont want to pay more than $400. Thanks

If you want the best sound quality the Nak 45z will blow away the Kenwood, if your more into gadgets then go with the Kenwood.

Actually the new kenwoods have excellent sound quality and options for the price, just too many buttons. Nak45 is great. Alpine's new line is awesome. I have the C90.

Definitely take a look at Alpine as well. For the money you want to spend, you can get a very good CD player. Quality-wise, Alpine has some of the very best. Well worth a look.
