Need Help Audio Installation For 5th Gen.

Hey I need help installng my rear speakers for a '97 Prelude. I went to Best Buy and the guy said that i need to cut the wirings since its amped up. So i wasnt sure what to do. I bought Alpine Type S Speakers, so if anyone could give me step by step information in what to do. Thatd be great. Thank you !

If everything is still stock you'll most likely need to bypass the Acoustic Feedback System. Here is a diagram:
