I know JVC just came out with a cd/cd-r/cd-rw/mp3 player head unit. Looks pretty nice, and the price isn't bad. It is the KD-SH99

no matter how tempting it is, do not get the AIWA mp3 player. even though it plays MP3's and cd's, it won't play for long plus a factory Hyundai deck puts out more power. believe me, my friend and i installed and taken them out plenty of times because of the poor quality

yes the sony's are crappy, and the aiwa's suck as well

I second the vote for the JVC DigiFine KD-SH99.

www.carmedia1.com has them for $309, and a May arrival date.

Cyberia:

Can you give me some info about the Neo player? Like taking the HD to my computer and back; wont I need to have something not to make static so I wont erase the
HD. Also can i fast forward through each mp3. And how many songs is 35 GB
anyway. I would really appreciate if u emailed me back. I hate carrying CD's
with all the thefts around. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Cyberia.

Guys. I've talk to people about the Aiwa and the Kenwood Z919. The Aiwa has had a lot of probs. The Z919 I hear can't read ID3 Tags which means is you have to rename the file before you burn them on to the CD. Plus they cant have spaces. Example: Eminem-Real Slim Shady, would have to be Eminem-Real_Slim_Shady. Can u imagine renaming all those files. I would wait till technology gets better or get a Neo35.
