Monoblock Wiring. Need assistance.

I really hate it when your info you get with an amp doesn't have specifics.

I have a Kenwood KAC-8103D amp running 2 polk momo 10s. Each are SVC and I have them run in parallel down to a 2 ohm load. This amp is stable at 2 ohms. But it doesn't say which posts to run off the amplifier. There are 2 + and 2 - terminals. Which 2 do I use??

Here is a picture of my amplifier.

Use the left most positive terminal and the left most negative terminal.

I've been thinking about this all day. That would only use 1 channel. If I wire it with both left terminals it would be 1 channel. Using the farthest outer posts will = bridged and that is what I want.

Wow, I totally missed this post. On that amp, it doesn't matter which positive & negative you wire it to. It only has one channel. The extra set of terminals is just for wiring ease.

I would agree that I could use the extra posts if I were using Dual Voice Coil subs. But using SVC subs there is no good way to run both subs at 2 ohms without running them in parallel.

I originally had both subs hooked to 1 channel. After swapping to both outside terminals I am getting tons more response.

Well that's certainly odd. There is only one channel on that amp so it shouldn't matter which terminal you hook it up to. I sell/install that same amp and it never made a difference which terminals you used. The extra terminal is just for you to wire up two svc subs straight to the amp and it'd still be in parallel. (same thing as connecting both positives together & both negatives, then connecting them to an amp) But if it works, it works!
