hey, do you mean a flip out monitor with dvd hookup or do you mean a portable dvd player with screen? common sense should tell me that you mean the portable models (and why have 2 radios just for video entertainment?). just go to any good guys, best buys, or similar electronics store to check what's available. panasonic, sony, pioneer and probably a couple of others...ranging from 800 bucks to 1500 or so. it's hard to say what's the best because budget is the number key separator. anyway, check the specs to see what's the best buy.

if you want to intregrate the audio into your car's speaker system, you'll need a cassette adapter (if you have a cassette player), aux in plug on headunit if applicable, or buy a fm modulator that plugs inline with the antenna and uses an fm preset.

i have the Alpine CVA-1005, and unfortunately, i couldnt find it in my soul to "recommend" either this or the beforementioned 8000

why?

i am on unit #3 and all three have had probs.... soft menu keys going bad, unit not folding all the way back in, display lights going out.....

too many headaches for a unit i spent a g on :-(

but of course...
