I got a bit more done than what the pics show. I was really into what I was doing and it just got dark... oh well, a few pics as promised:

Found a leak in a torn grommet---- thank you to indicative rust and a run through the car wash.

Factory "sound deadening' vinyl was removed:

This carpet has been abused

VERY Abused (yes, I bought it this way)

Cleaned, gutted all sorts of old wirring, and cleaned some more.

Then with the sun beating down on me, I applied my Damplifier Pro

and yes, I did a little more than 25% coverage. I gotta hedge my bet with chris after-all.

Thanks to small hands we cut 4" squares and were able to place on the outer skin of the car as well. This area had a HORRIBLE echo... not no mo--

AND, pulled the fuel pump one more time to set it in the baffle correctly.

Heading out to finish the HVAC repair- YAY for air conditioning--- and take more pics.. Like I said, I got a lot done last night, just no pics.

Still to be installed are the lighting power wires and some Cat5 - I am preparing for the future.... I do NOT want to do this again.

Flat Speaker wire, 12AWG for the mid bass, 14 AWG for the mids, and 18 AWG for the tweets. Also helps in identifying the wires. Each of these terminate under the HU and will be dead ended into a terminal strip. That way I can pull the wire in my doors TO this point instead of working the other way around... I figured that may save me some headache and assist in troubleshooting in the future if it is ever needed.

The round grayish cable is the shielded wire I have seen used in so many other installs. there are 9 runs of it from front to back. Overkill? Maybe? Backups and future growth without tearing the interior apart again; DEFINITELY!

Think I will have it done by next year?? LOL!

Grommeted the power wire, glued the grommets in and then taped over it. Overkill? Lots of power going through this wire... I think it is called for:

tucked it behind the ABS module:

2 power runs, cat 5, bass control wire, and primary rem turn on lead.

My closed cell foam (CCF) finally came in yesterday so I set to putting it down and getting at least one side done so I could get to work today.. 4 hours of work and...
It's a bad pic, but I went with 1/8" due to "depth" constrictions.

Cut out and seal every single "hole"

I love me some Gorilla Tape

It is important to get as close to full coverage as possible with no gaps where the noise can permeate the isolation barrier. (the plan is to decouple the sound deadener/metal panels from the Mass loaded vinyl--in this case I had it adhered to the carpet backing)

While I was installing the CCF I set the carpet on my pos truck to heat up and hopefully make it easier to put in the car.

Lots n lots of cutting and taping:

then to find all the bolt/screw holes and get the carpet in. Honestly, I found it easier, almost necessary, to cut the carpet right in half. And If I have to service anything in the future, I only have to take one half of the car apart... right?

Now my seats, that looked ok before, look like crap.... I need to get some estimates on getting them re-upholstered.

Looks great so far. For painting black panels I use SEMS flat black. It makes it look like stock plastic.

Both Subscribe and photos. Some of the questions.

A. Do you still need a fuse to the battery with cables up to date?
2. Is the third of three? I see you are connected directly to the battery + alternator shock and nuts to battery -. And 'the engine and the chassis frame or alternator?

BTW, if you are not an obstacle, the representative works very well for me.
