okay so i got everything i need, and its all put in, but my amp isnt like powering the sub... i think, or the amp isnt turning on.
i have no idea whats going on, i think it may have to do with the remote start wire or something, im just really confised, and i dont know what to do. ive looked stuff up and tried it, like switching wires, but it doesnt work.

Calm down son, you just have to do a little troubleshooting....
Explain, with as much detail as you can, how you wired the amp. You should have a 12v lead from the battery, a ground that is only a few feet from the amp, and the remote lead/RCA from the radio all hooked up. I am guessing you overlooked one of these things. Is there a light on the amp, and if so, does it light up when the radio is turned on?
i hooked everything up according to what i googled, meaning i started with the red cord from the battery to the back, then put in the RCA on the back of the headunit to the amp, then i had trouble with the skinny wire cause i didnt know where it went, but now its hooked to the blue and white striped wire, and a red light on the amp is on where it says "protection" or something but next to that light there is a green one that says "power" i never seen that on yet.. but while i didnt know where the skinny wire went i went ahead and hooked everying but that wire to the amp... but now its all together and the little red light is on but nothing is happening
What I would check from there, in order.
1) Power and ground cable are not backwards, and that your ground has a solid metal on metal contact. Also, if your amp has built in fuses, check them.
2) The remote lead. It should be blue with a white stripe at the radio like you a said. Temporarily run a wire from the battery to the REM terminal on the amp to see if it turns on then. In not, then this isn't your problem.
3) Borrow another amp and wire it in place to see if your amp is bad. You may just have a dead amp.
yeah, the amp is a 300watt visonik.. i havent paid for it yet so if it is bad ill just give it back
my gound cable is hooked to the screw that holds the spare tire in... my dad said it should work, but i just took his guess and did it...
and both cables are not backwards.
so i just went ourside and put the battery cable to the REM, the same as it always has been..

Ok, how did you ground it on that bolt? Did you put the ground wire under the tire up against body of the car on the bottom of the spare tire compartment?
Also a visonik is an absolute bottom of the line, super cheap-o, poorly constructed amp. Good chance you got a bad one. I would strongly recommend you upgrade to at least a semi-reputable brand. Amps typically don't wear out over time, so you can probably get a decent used one on ebay for cheap if you are on a tight budget.
its just under the plastic screw thing that hold the tire down, im guessing its a bad idea :P
There is your problem. Move the ground, it needs to be in direct contact with the body of the car. If you just look around in the trunk you will eventually find a hole or a screw you can use so you don't have to drill anything.
Yes any screw will work, it is not important. What is important is that you get metal on metal contact somewhere on the body of the car. You may want to sand around whatever hole you use to get a good contact.
Your current setup won't work because you have a very poor and highly restrictive ground, and you likely cannot complete the circuit back to the battery.
okay, i got the sub working now, but its not hitting as hard as it should, at least i think it should hit harder cause i got 300 watts going to one sub, and i have a friend who has 2 10s with a 200watt amp and they hit way harder..
whats going?

So it was the ground then?
The problem is that you have a cheap amp. That "300 watt" amp is probably putting out somewhere in the ballpark of 60-100 watts RMS. I would recommend a CEA complaint amp as a replacement because that seal ensures that the manufacturer is not just pulling power ratings of their ass (like visonink does).
