Help with Nav and Satellite radio install

Im in the mist of installing my Nav unit and the only thing left to connect is the "reverse lamp lead", which i have no clue where it's located? Also I havent tested it out but is it easy to just peel back the rear windshield weather stripping to run the satellite radio antenna? Any advice that would help the install process is greatly appreciated.

I just threw my antennas on the rear deck...got perfect signal for both navi and satellite radio.

Reverse lamp lead is only needed if you're hooking up a rear view camera...otherwise you don't need to hook it up. Easiest way is to just tap the reverse light wire from your tailight.

Good luck

Thanks blklude, having them on the rear deck is doing good so far.

I installed my sirius antenna right above the front windshield, top center. Tuck the wire into the weather stripping all the way down to the passenger door jam, then run the wire into the passenger compartment under the door weather stripping (electrical tape the painted metal under the weather stripping), then run the antenna behind the glove box to the back of the radio. VERY EASY. This is the preferred method for installing satellite radio for us aftermarket installers. just my .02

That exactly what sirus recommends however, having it installed on the rear deck so far has given me full signal and never a drop in connection, plus it just looks so much cleaner. Thanks for the cents tho.
