HELP...Alpine Type R fitment issues......

umk well i bought these a LOOOONG time ago, and i got a good deal on them but at the time i didnt know what i was doing and i bought a pair of COAXIAL type R 6.5" for up front in my 4th gen.

now i finally have eveything ready to install but i have a few questions

- Did everyone else have to cut the hole in the door bigger to make them fit?
mine wont fit and i have a dremel but it wont cut through the thick metal of the door.......

- is it agreed upon that a 3/4 inch spacer will work just fine?

do i need anything else other than a spacer and to figure out some way to make the actual hole in the door bigger??

TIA- i hope i can get all this figure out soon with someone's help

naw, im pretty sure im screwed, i did a search on google and i have a feeling that i was sent 6 3/4" speakers even though on the outside of my box it says 6.5 because the speaker is nowhere near even fitting inside the hole with or without a spacer......

ohh, and im not a newbie.....i most definately have searched extensively sooooooo yea
