I have a 5th Generation Type-SH with a factory head unit. If I want to swap it out with an aftermarket Alpine, is there anything special that needs to be done regarding the Audio Feedback System? Or is it just a straight swap of the head unit (plus harness)?

It's pretty straight forward. Just splicing the harness. I don't think you need to mess with the AFBS unless your changing the rear speakers.

you just might need to fade the back speakers more after you set everything up. When you go to REPLACE the backs.. thats when you get into ohm issues... really no big deal... do a search.. plenty of chatter on here about it.
