go ahead and just remove paint from a nice place in the floor and ground it right there.. just a 1x1in area remove all the paint so its just metal and then screw your connector down in the center of that..

just make sure you don't screw into the gass tank, it it right under the back seat and the area just behind the seat (very close to the floor0

and don't use a self tapping screw,it will work it's way loose.it would be best to drill a pilot hole and use a heavy screw with a lock washer.just make sure the terminal on the wire is touching the metal not the screw or washer.do as 8isenuf says and look under the car to make sure it is safe before drilling.it could save you a lot of headaches.

Drill in the bottom of the spare tire well...Be sure to scrape the paint off and be very very very sure that you put under coating where you screw came through under the car....

I also agree use a nut on the other side.
