Nice little setup you've got now. Buy a plate amp and build a home theater setup for the sub for when you wait out the summer.

Facing the sub up = more rattles, besides its better for hatches and SUVs.
Facing sub toward the front = too much cancellation
I think the best is facing the subs straight back at least for me it is. Although your box looks like its tilted a little.

Nice subwoofer how much power are you feeding it? Time to replace those stock fronts to keep up with your subs.

^^^^
actually it doesnt rattle nearly as much as i had anticipated. obviously it does rattle, but most of it is in the lower bumper area. my tag used to be the loudest, once i took care of that, it became the exhaus piping and 3rd brake light area. but it usually only rattles REALLY bad on higher bass, cause i have the and set at 60hz and the HU set at 60hz so when i get a song that hits reall high, the sub doesnt like it and it rattles like madd. but i'll figure somthin out in the fall.

For the past few days I actually have been running at 800watts to see how the sub is( perfect by the way) but iim gonna drop itdown to like 600 ish later cause i dont want to mess up this sweet sub.

SPIN_RG--

I tried to mount the amp on thr back of the seat but it oesnt fit. I have a rear strut tower bar that hits the amp when i try to close the seat. I was thinin about mounting the box to the floor then mountung the amp to the back of the box, we'll see what happens.

Probably a bad idead, for not many car audio subwoofers are meant to do well in home theater applications. Most plate amps are wired 4 ohms so make sure your impedences are correct before you go blowing some stuff up. Box specs need to be a little bigger and probably need to be ported and tuned for a desired output.

You can find a lot of info over the net on using car audio subs for home theater aplications. There's nothing to be afraid of. Clean signal applied through a proper amp with a sub in an enclosure. It's the same basic fundamentals. Matching power levels and impedance is a no brainer. You have to tune the enclosure for a larger area though. (room vs car) Not everyone is into doing it, but it's fun to toy with, and also gives use to some people's old subwoofers.
