I have an LS now, and the stockers suck. I want some real nice component speakers but I'm not sure on what to get. Not that interested in rattling the whole street...just good quality. (and a decent price maybe )

First off, what are the speaker sizes? Looks like 6 1/2 in the front, and what, 6 x 4 in the rear? Can 6 x 9's be installed there without a hitch? (I want good tweeters too if anyone cares)

Thanks for any info.

i have a set of 6.5 Oz Audio Components. These speakers are pretty good. The tweeters are also clean and crisp not ear deafing like MB Q's. There are better ones out there but for the price i paid, $250, I think it was a deal that couldn't be beaten. In integras, i believe that the rear speakers are also 6.5's. I would stick to stock sizes because i can't even hear my rear speakers

The fronts locations can accomodate a 6.5" woofer, provided you use a adaptor plate. The factory speakers are very shallow and you'll need to use adaptor plate in order to properly mount the speaker in the hole to prevent front/backwave isolation, have a even/flat mounting surface to mount the speaker on (don't want to bend the basket and put the magnet and voice coil out of alignment) and be able to clear the window. An adaptor is also needed or for the rear locations in a hatchback. 3/4" MDF and a little patience will work. For the sedan, 6x9" speakers can be found in the rear.

stay away from oversized 6.5(I think they're referred to as 6.5S)
