Well the other day I was riding down the road and got a nice distinctive wire/electronics burning smell. Then noticed the bass went dead. I move the sound all the way to the rear speakers and barely hear anything at all mumbling out of them. The speakers are not stock, they are after market, but appear to still be run through the stock amp. Sound like it might have blew?

Not hard to do with an after market head unit, but I've never heard of it happening on a stock deck. If you are running after market speakers you should bypass the amp anyway.
