Fat Mat? My friend used that but the adhesive wasn't too good. It started peeling off in certain places.
I use Second Skin Audio Damplifier Pro with good results.

If it's going to be against a wall or applied upside-down, I'd only use Dynamat Extreme. Shell out the extra cash, and be secure in knowing that you will never have to apply it again.

Ive used hushmat before, it works well but if you put pressure on it on comes apart. I stuck some in between the spoiler and the trunk and didnt work too well when i tightend it down. But for inside trunk panels it work fine
