WOW , you guys are carrying alpine video? IN-store?!
we only had decks instore and alpine monitors and such could be special ordered
Sorry, that was a typo, it's the IVA-D310 that we're getting. There's also going to be a DVA-something, and a couple other higher priced decks (CDA-9853 & CDA-9855) I left the product list at work, so I can't remember off the top of my head what the DVA is. I'm pretty sure we'll be carrying the video in-store. We've got a bunch of Pioneer AVIC-N1's to move through first though. Haha, this is all off-topic though.

i just came across clifford going "spread spectrum" technology. i guess similiar to what compustar's 2wSS systems had to give it their 1.25 claimed range
that remote looks insane!!
The Science of Security: Clifford G5 introduces its new 2-Way Spread-Spectrum Dot Matrix Menu Remote with One Mile Range.
This is simply the most advanced keychain device ever made! Scroll the wheel and see a vast selection of icons (drawn on the LCD screen via Dot Matrix.) Select the icon, enlarge it and press the button to send a command or sensor adjustment to the vehicle via Spread Spectrum, with ultra-extreme range of up to a full mile!
That’s just the remote. The system CPU itself is the most advanced Clifford system Directed has ever made, with 3-point immobilization and three separate sensors: digital tilt sensor, OmniSensor and remotely adjustable proximity sensor, with BlackJax anti carjacking, Smart Self-Powered Siren, 3 auxiliary outputs and built-in relays.
The AvantGuard 5.5X is simply the state-of-the-art 2-Way vehicle security and convenience system in the world.
Okay now THAT is cool!! They finally combined the G5 and Matrix into one product, an upgraded one at that.

how much does a intelliguard 750 or avantguard 5 go for installed?
Avantguard 5 will be around $550-$750 installed. All depending on where you buy the alarm (online, or through the shop that installs it) & what the going rate for installs in your area is, of course.

Circuit is just getting BOA, Python, Valet, and maybe Hornet, either way the DEI bypasses and install parts are better then the junk code alarm makes. But this change wont happen till all the SI managers go to the meeting in texas in spring. Around the same time Kicker products will start showing up too. But anyone else here the rumors about Eclipse signing up wit circuit?
Btw i worked at BB and currently senor at CC roadshop.

Well if you've seen the newer Eclipse stuff, it doesn't exactly scream high quality anymore. There was a thread on here a while ago with a pic of one. ehh... Their theft protection/warranty thing is pretty awesome though. I've had more than one co-worker have to use it before when their HU was stolen. It'd be nice if you guys got the double din sized lcd touch screen deck.

CC is getting kicker that kickazz! Yeah that Clifford looks interesting. Does anybody have any idea if dei is going to change their stand on remote start alarms for sticks. You Know something similar to what compustar has. I've always liked dei/viper/clifford I live far enough north remote start is important.
I used to manage a CC roadshop. Dumbest thing they ever did was get rid of DEI. ANyways all those brands are just different names. Internally all the same. The only distinct brand name DEI now owns is Clifford. Clifford was aquired by DEI sevral years ago, and was until now Just a viper with a different name. DEI has just released the Clifford G5 which is in a calss of its own. If you want the best get the new clifford G5. Between all of the other DEI brands its just names so you are good with any of them. But please do yourself a favor and dont buy anything other than dei.
