Hehe, there's a couple of authorized a/d/s shops down here in Miami that I frequent every now and then to revel in the glory that is the a/d/s 346is component set.

Seriously, just fantastic. Very nice and warm midbass, not punchy and aggressive like MB Q (which I also like), but a DEFINITE presence - I switched over to some Infinity components and there was a certain oomph missing from the sound in the lower registers. Midrange and upper range was totally smooth, natural, and uncolored, not fatiguing at all, and I didn't hear any 'spitting' from the tweets at higher volume. Have to go back soon with a few of my own CDs to test them with something that I know most of the nuances to, probably some Michel Camilo and Bjork - I'd forgotten to bring em and the only music they had behind the counter was Kenny G (ugh....), but it turned out to be a good test, with some very subtle sax, string, and piano parts that sounded damn near live. Like to see how they handle female vocals and some 'harder' bass, hence Bjork.
