Cabin Sound

Ok. So I need opinions on which speakers to use for my doors. I have JL 6x9 on the baffle and jl 6.5 in the door. I just can't hear the door speakers very well unless i fade drastically to the front. Not to mention, it sounds hollow. Any suggestions on full sounding speakers. JL's are my favorite but they just don't sound right.... It doesn't sound full like my firebird does...

Well, seems like you're packing some decent audio. I assume you have amps and a head unit capable of powering it all properly?

My guess is probably need to recheck the wiring, and how much power you have going to any particular set, it just sounds like your system is imbalanced. I mean, that's my guess. Also, this is probably the wrong section, there's an entertainment section or something where you could get much better advice.

Hmm well I'm no expert on the subject as far as which speakers or brands whatever, but personally I got a Pioneer deck (a good one with all kinds of input/outputs) and Infinity speakers. I got separates for the front (tweeters in the dash, woofers in the door) and then just normals in the back, all factory sized. It sounds really good. I also have 2 10" Infinity subs with an MTX amp which sounds amazing (I use a high pass filter on the deck if my subs are on. In the winter, they generally aren't). The 3D sounds are really good so I'm wondering if the problem is just your deck.
