Battery back up siren question - Honda Prelude Forum

Is there some way to add a battery backup siren to ONLY go off if the battery is cut?

I don't want to have 2 sirens going off and sounding funny.

I was thinking that maybe it can be done with a normally closed relay so that when there is no power on the constant +12v wire that goes to the battery it goes off. Am I correct on this?

I think, but I have both of mine running at the same time and it's just louder.

Yea but the sirens are going to have different tones so its going to sound funny

Just let it go off. I have 2 sirens on my car. One normal and one back up. It's pretty loud. Last time I went to a restaraunt parked right infront. My friend told me some guy sat on your car and the alarm went off. People standing outside were covering their ears. I hope that guy felt really stupid.
