Does anyone have any experience with the trunk popper signal? It is the grey wire on the 8 pin harness. it is supposed to give a 1 second negative pulse.

All that mine does is give me a constant .5 volt to 1.5 volts. The button seems to do nothing :mad

Is there something I missed here?

I have rf420. we had to used a relay for the trunk.

Thanks for the response. The relay was indeed needed, I installed it but I could not get the alarm brain to trigger it. I was about to give up and it suddenly started working. On the RF-320 you have to hold the trunk button on the remote for 5 seconds or more or it won't work. I have no idea if this is normal or not. The manual says 2 seconds.

Oh well, it works anyway.
