Audio Setup

Hey Guys!
I think this is like my third post so im pretty new. I got my 2000 White Prelude a few months ago. Im really happy with it but the first thing i wanna do to it is upgrade the sound system. Ive posted a thread on diyma cause i read on here to do that but i think i could get more prelude specific help here. I dont have a huge budget (looking to spend up to 140 on HU, and 120 on front speakers). Im not sure what would be the best option with 6.5's, either co-axial or component. Ive never installed audio equipment but im looking to do my prelude right I know the prelude can be a little tricky with finding speakers that fit easily in the front. Any help and or suggestions on equipment would be greatly appreciated!

I actually have a power acoustiks lt-980-2 that i picked up at a garage sale that could also be used in the system as well as a old rockford fosgate punch 10" in a ported box that i dont know if it is still good. if both work it would be great but not really planning my system based around them because i have no idea if they are useable. So might be looking to get a sub as well especially if the PA amp works and i can use it in conjuction with whatever sub i buy. Thanks!

you can buy a Kenwood Excelon KDCX-394 for $140.00 and Hertz Dieci 6.5 inch coax speakers for about 110-130.00 this will take a little work to fit the speaker in the door location or you could do the 5.25 version and be more of a drop in install, they run $100-120.00. If you take your sub to a local shop they can bench test it for you to ensure it is working properly.
