Amp/Radio Fuse problem

Hey.

I just installed a new sound system, new deck, 4 speakers, amp and sub. For some reason the 15amp fuse controlling the running lights and interior dash lights breaks within seconds on turning on the lights.

When I removed the deck, and replaced the fuse the lights works perfectly, even with a 10amp fuse.

Has anybody seen this before? Does anybody have any suggistions?

Thank you.

Did you use an adapter harness when you installed the radio?

Bad ground on the deck? Some wire touching another and grounding out blowing the fuse.

I bought a harness for the radio. There is one "Extra" wire, orange colored. from the radio that the harness does not have a match for.

I will double check all connections later today.

I have a friend with a 98 Accord EX that had the exact same problem. It ended up being the dimmer wire from the radio shorting on metal in the dashboard.
