Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, and I'm in the process of restoring a water damaged (from leakage not flooding) 97 SH. I hope it isn't too rude for my first post to be asking for opinions on audio equipment, but since I have the interior of my car totally stripped down I want to go ahead and install a new system. I have a bit of ocd when it comes to things being matched up, so I would like to keep all of the speakers, subs, amps, etc. the same brand.
My head unit will be a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT. I had originally wanted to go with Pioneer everything, and for my bass I want to have shallow mount subs (not sure if I want 1 or 2 or if they will be 10 or 12 inch yet), which Pioneer does offer but after researching I found that the Type R Thins would be a much better sub (correct me if I'm wrong in any of my assumptions please) and I would get tighter, harder hitting, greater performance from the Alpines. So I decided to stick with the Pioneer HU (which I LOVE) and go with Alpine Type R for EVERYTHING else.
So the combination that I have come up with consists of the following:
Pioneer AVH-P3200BT HU
Alpine PDX-M6 Mono Amp powering
Alpine SWR-T10 Sub (or the SWR-T12)
Alpine PDX-F4 Four Channel Amp powering
Alpine SPR-17S in Front (or SPR-13S if they won't fit) and
Alpine SPR-69C in Front (or SPR-17S if they'd sound better)
But now I keep hearing all these wonderful things about the Kappa's (including their ease of fitment compared to the Type R's) and am beginning to wonder if I should decide on them for all of my speakers and amps, but I really don't want to (especially since they don't make a shallow mount sub) unless someone gives me a really good reason to do so. Hint Hint

But anyway guys, I am a total nub. I know absolutely nothing about car audio. So hopefully I am on the right track here and I won't get criticized too bad lol. Does this sound like a good combination of products that would actually produce a nice sound in a 5G lude? Thanks in advance to anyone willing to give me some advice.
