alpine cd will not eject cd!! suggestions??

man this sucks. i just installed my alpine cd-7894, it worked all dandy and everything then i decided to take out the cd and it would not eject. It made a sound like its tryin to push it out but woulndt come out. I did the eject hold 3 second thing in the manual and reset power but still nothing work.

I bought this about 7 months ago but since wrecked my car so it came off for abt 5 months..then i put this thing in today and it failed me..damm it. What can I do people? Suggestions?? Tricks?? This was a bought at a flea market so I doubt I could go to alpine for warranty repairs.

if you already hit the reset button there isn't much you can do but take it apart

Take it to a shop, might cost you something though.

this has happened to me before, try this - take another cd and stick it in the slot, and press the cd thats already in there further in, and try to eject if not working then turn off car, turn back on, then try to eject it.

very typical Alpine defect. I've had 3 of them have that problem. I always had the hookup to go back and get it replaced free of charge.
