i had a question. my alarm keeps giving off randomly, im thinkin it has to do with the knock sensor. my alarm keeps telling me the car was hit. how should i mount the knock sensor? currently i have it ziptied to a piece of metal directly. should i just use velcro or maybe use one of those foam squares between the knock sensor and the metal that its attached to so it wont go off for stupid reasons. i lowered the sensitivity, but it still goes off randomly so what do you guys think. keep lowering sensitivity or use something between the knock sensor and metal its attached to?

I always put them on a wire harness since that is more sensitive
try moving it around and the car and bang on the car to see how to set your senstivity
If worse comes to worse you'll have to buy a new one if it's broke
