Unfortunately, my car doesn't have an alarm or keyless entry. I want to get one but have no idea what to look for at all. I would like something relatively affordable too. Looking for some suggestions here. Thanks.

whoever does it, make sure they guarantee that they have a lifetime workmanship warranty (as diagnosing issues can difficult and expensive), as well as make sure that they DO NOT use the quick wire clips for connections. Ask them to solder all connections, but if they won't, it's no big deal as long as they DON'T use the quick wire clips; they'll cut your factory wires over time.
