6x9 question

I've got a set of infiniti reference series 3ways in the back, but I was just wondering if anyone had problems lining up the mounting holes with the factory bolts, been running these speakers for about 3 years and am happy with them, but thinking about going another route,I sound deadened the whole rear shelf, but the bolts are kinda misaligned to where there could be a gap and I keep getting bad rattles back there, taken em out a couple times since the first install to try to get rid of the rattles but no luck, even dremeled out the holes on the speaker larger to fit better, but its still not perfect yet, wouldnt mind making an mdf spacer back there but then its very little clearance to actual mount the thing, anyways what are you guys running back there and did you guys run into the same problems?

I would recommend just drilling out the wholes bigger if your still having problems... what you can do is cut a small block of wood and use that to clamp your speaker into place

I personally dont have any speakers there because I have 3 10's in the trunk and they would drown out the rear sound any way. Instead I invested in some MB Quarts for the front.

I dremeled out the holes but where the holes need to be would be to close to the surround of the speaker,I'm thinking of possibly enlarging the holes on the shelf and just running long bolts through and attach nuts on the bottome so they wont shake loose either, also thought of maybe putting in a 6x9-6x5 adapter plate, but not sure how 6x5's back there would sound
