WTT: SH Tranny/w ATTS Unit for Base - Honda Prelude Forum

I'm trying to do a five speed swap on my base but found out SH tranny won;t bolt up.

I'm looking for Base 5spd transmission, will trade SH Transmissionand ATTS Unit.

or u can jus get the conversion plate.....u use the sh trans but take out the atts unit and put a plate there

iirc your ****ed....the blocks are not the same...they may both be H22A4, but they are different between the ATTS and Base

u sure i thought the only thing different were oil filter locations and header....but get a conversion plate so u can knock that atts unit outta the way

No, that won't work. The adapter plate is when you're trying to use a regular H22 transmission with the SH block. The problem with his situation is that the SH differential in the trans has a coaxial output that will only work with the ATTS unit.
